Research Quality Framework: Assessing the quality and impact of research in Australia

Quality Metrics:   September 2006

At its first meeting on 1 June 2006 the Research Quality Framework Development Advisory Group (RQFDAG) decided to establish a Quality Metrics Working Group (QMWG) to identify the forms and sources of available measures that may assist the process of research assessment by peer review. The QMWG met on 19 June and 21 July 2006 with further investigative work being done by Ms Linda Butler, the Chair.

Research Impact:   September 2006

The Research Quality Framework Development Advisory Group (RQFDAG) has developed key recommendations for the optimal methodology for assessing research impact as part of the RQF.
