Items to be considered

The AGM held on 13 October 2008 at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music successfully concluded all agenda items with the exception of Item 5. Statement of accounts, auditor's report - due to the then incomplete audit process.

The auditor's report needs to be considered at a reconvened AGM. This will be held at a short session (approximately 15 minutes) at 1.30pm on Wednesday, 19 November 2008 at the CHASS office. The meeting will also provide an opportunity for Members to meet the newly elected CHASS Board and President.

As per the CHASS Constitution and legal requirements, it is necessary for the reconvened meeting to be attended by Member Organisations represented in person. We therefore ask Member Organisations, especially those based in Canberra, to send a delegate to the meeting in order to constitute a quorum. The delegate can be any person who the organisation is happy to represent them, it need not be an office bearer, provided the person is formally registered with us as the delegate.

Delegates who attended the AGM session on 13 October are not required to re-register themselves or their proxies. However, we do ask delegates to inform the CHASS Office by email policy [at] chass.org.au of their availability on the day. Member Organisations not represented at the 13 October AGM session do need to complete and submit a form of registration of delegate.
